One Year of Closing at 2!
Hello everyone! It's been a while, but It's officially been one year since the release of Closing at 2 version 1. What started as a class project turned into something so special to us and to many of you as well. I'd love to say that we've been working on the full version of the game non-stop, but life and responsibilities have slowed down our progress a considerable bit. We're not a professional studio, we have don't have money or employees or anything like that, we're just 4 kids with full-time jobs and studies that we have to focus on. But don't worry - that's not going to stop us.
As we reflect on this year, we want to again thank each and every one of you, those who continue to come back to this place, who continue to post comments and videos, even if interactions have slowed since the release of the game, we have been grateful for every single step of this experience.
Don't worry, we're not going anywhere. In fact, we're just getting started. Though it's happening slowly, progress on the full version of the game is definitely being made. There's so much we want to talk about, but we don't want to make any promises until we get farther down the road. We do know one thing, though.
The game's coming in 2025.
What day exactly? I have no idea. And this is a very small window for a studio with little to no resources, so please take that into consideration. But we're getting a bit impatient too, so 2025 it is!!
You'll be seeing more of us before that though, and pretty soon too.
We'll be attending MAGfest 2025 as a part of their annual Indie Video Game Showcase! You'll be able to meet us and play an exclusive demo of the current version of the game. We're so grateful for this opportunity, and it's all thanks to you guys. More info about MAGfest can be found at https://super.magfest.org/
We're really excited for what 2025 will bring, and we're happy for you to be joining us.
Until next time!
